Ahhhh HA!

I just had an epiphany.  Well - I mean, it's not earth shattering or life saving or anything BUT, this is the gig.  The more blogs I read/follow, the behinder I get!  Don't get me wrong!  I love reading certain blogs and I  particularly love a select few.  I usually find new blogs by visiting them from "my" blogs, i.e. the blogs I follow regularly.  The list is getting longer!  It's very fun and interesting to see what people have to say.

Here's the epiphany though.  I noticed several bloggers have been posting less lately.  Probably winter doldrums, writer's block, I don't know.  But guess what?  It's a RELIEF!  (RELIEF recognition = Epiphany)   Not because I don't want to read them anymore but because it gives me a break!

I don't like to miss a blog post of someone I enjoy following but if I have to catch up with 2 or 3 posts on 10 or 12 blogs!  Well - you get the picture!  Something's gotta give!!!  If a bunch of people are blog breaking, then I CAN catch up on other's blogs.  So IIIII think I'm on to something!  If everyone blogged just a little less, perhaps more would get read?  Just sayin'...

Where's the joy?  Giggle...

The JOY is finding a few blogs each day that aren't new posts so I can enjoy those that ARE!!!!

Hope no one gets mad at me about this!!!  ♥♥♥

PS - Karen?  This does not apply to you!

Spring or No Spring - I Got Spring!

The other day, my friend Robin brought me a dozen organic eggs she had been given from her friend's chickens.  I gratefully accepted them and without opening the carton, stowed them away in my refrig.  This morning, I opened them to this little joy.  YES!!!!!  Green eggs!  They are soooo pretty!!!!!!  I had to take a picture to show you.

So after a breakfast of the creamiest over easy eggs EVER, I got lazier and lazier.  No energy, no motivation...so I sat down and started catching up on facebook and on some blogs I try to follow regularly.  I came across one of my favorites and was instantly inspired (and I caught some joy there too!). I got my lazy butt up off my chair, threw on my jacket, grabbed a pair of scissors and went outside in the blustery weather and cut me my own personal bouquet of Spring!

Now it may not look like much right now?  But wait 2 weeks!  You will be sooooo jealous!!!!

And check these out.  I bought them yesterday.  I guess I have Spring Fever.  Didn't really think about it too much until I started this blog post.

Hope you enJOYed my breath of spring. Happy 5 inches of snow tomorrow!!!!

Queen of HEARTS! ♥♥♥

So, it's Valentine's Day.  Not my favorite holiday.  I mean I don't hate it or anything.  Just find it a bit overrated.  Although, I know I used to love it.  You know - young and in love and all that good stuff.  Prob. something about confirming that I'm loveable!  Although, I am sure there were years of big disappointment with no lover in sight......then it changed to being in love with my baby and I expressed it 100 fold on V-Day.

But, alas,  in recent years, not so much.  I think my oldest son summed it up for me.  Yesterday he asked if they were getting their bag of Valentine stuff tonight because the next day was a school day.

BAG OF STUFF??????  What BAG OF STUFF?????  Agggggggghhhhhhh...I was NOT happy.

At any rate - I may not be a huge fan of this Hallmark Holiday but I am a huge lover - always have been.  And the one thing Valentines Day and I definitely have in common?  Hearts!!!!!  I am:

The Queen of Hearts! (Self-proclaimed, that is!)

Give me a chance and I will doodle hearts on everything.  And besides the little known fact that I am a huge doodler and mindlessly color in all the Os on the front page of our newspaper almost everyday especially LOVE coloring with my daughter, I absolutely just plain LOVE hearts.  And me being the internet art groupie, I have my very own collection of internet heart art.  (Say THAT 3 times fast - oopps)

So in honor of "heart day", let me share some heart art with all my blog reading Valentines. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I have blue heart art

 And Teal heart art

Cute heart art

and somewhat "traditional" heart art

Whatever the kind of heart art, each "piece" stirs a little something in me.  Must be the lover that I am!

So there's a peek.  You can't imagine how much more I have.  Don't need to bore you silly, though!

So to all of those that I love AND also to those I simply like, hope you are ALL having a joyful heart day!

Love,

The Queen of Hearts ♥♥♥♥♥♥

It's My 100th Post!

I did it!  100 posts before my blogaversary!  Yay me!!!!  It's been a great ride.  And the most important thing to happen since I started writing is the heightened awareness of the joy in my life.  Is my life always joyful?  Bahahahahahahahaahaha!  Yea righttttttt.  But at least when a joy moment appears, I catch it more often than I did before I was writing about catching joy!

Last night I found this on someone's blog and I knew I had to post it.  It kind of sums it all up - don't you think?  And how appropriate for someone that loves kissing!

(Somehow I wasn't kissing my life when I discovered that the dog from hell Daisy Mae was eating kisses yesterday - that is - HERSHEYS KISSES - all 20 of them. Urgggggg)

So anyway, thanks for riding along with me on my blog journey.  If anyone who reads this blog becomes just a little bit more aware of the joy in their life, it's the frosting on my cake.  Hope you are one of them!

Someone's DONE With Snow!

I stopped at my friend Janine's house this morning and was greeted by this on her front door.

Can you read that?  No?

How about now?  Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  Giggly JOY!

Sometimes - it's the little things...
